Suspended from a single cam and separated entirely from the rock, one wide-eyed opossum hangs on for dear life. With no rope in sight and panic setting in, he appears to be reconsidering every decision that brought him here.
Cruxing Opossum playfully captures the fear, exposure, and absurdity that can accompany an ambitious climbing adventure. Beneath the humor is a familiar feeling: committing to something before realizing just how far outside your comfort zone you have wandered.
This 4 × 6-inch studio test print is an early glimpse of Climbing Critters, my upcoming collection of adventurous animals officially releasing October 9. It is the only 4 × 6-inch Cruxing Opossum test print being offered in this presentation.
The print comes displayed in a 5 × 7-inch gold floating frame.
